This prime power project for the National Park Service consists of eight
sections of NEMA 1 switchgear rated at 277/480 volt, 1600 amp.
Woodward EGCPII engine controllers provide automatic synchronizing and loading control for three diesel generators with a total combined capacity of 710 kW. Automation is provided by an Allen-Bradley programmable logic controller with operator touch screen interface to the engine start and demand control program logic setpoints.
