This prime power project located on the site of the famous battle in the Pacific during World War II consists of five sections of General Electric AV5 switchgear connected to two 450 kW Caterpillar diesel electric generators.

Automation is provided by a GE Fanuc Series 90 PLC and a 15-inch color operator touch screen. Woodward DSLC controllers provide synchronizing and loading controls. Automated control functionality includes demand control, feeder control, metering and annunciation.
