Nodaway is a custom angle iron frame construction with controls, metering and
distribution meeting American Bureau of Ships standards. The system provides
transfer controls between the normal and emergency source generators via NEMA
rated latching contactors.
Power distribution includes 480 VAC, three phase feeder breakers, 120 VAC single phase feeder breakers, 250 VDC feeder breakers and 24 VDC control power feeder breakers. The 250 VDC source is developed from an internally mounted three phase rectifier assembly powered by an external 75 kVA step down transformer.
